When do you think it’s ok to have sex — on the first night, after marriage or somewhere in between? We have one poll for women and one for men.
In our editor’s letter this week, Kim Calvert writes about a 25-year-old girlfriend who thinks it’s fine to have sex on a first date, but can’t understand why she can’t find a boyfriend. Sex used to be something that was supposed to happen after marriage, or once a relationship has reached a certain level of commitment. When do you think it’s ok to have sex? We have one poll for women and one for men.

@ cinc: Don’t you think that it’s generally the woman who gives the “permission” for sex to occur, and thus the “can” in the question for men to answer?
Why is it “want” for women and “can” for men in the otherwise identically-worded last choice in the respective questions? These are vastly qualitatively different apples-to-oranges questions, and belie some pretty lame stereotyping. This could’ve been done better.
