Shifting the Everyday at ArtSpace Warehouse

“Resurfaces” by David Jang

SingularCity’s Art Lovers in LA Group and group leader Clara Berta invite you to an exhibit on Friday, January 4 from 6-8 pm at the ArtSpace Warehouse that will spotlight Los Angeles artists David Jang and Barbara Kolo among others.

Following the reception, we’ll walk to nearby Playa for after-show refreshments.

David Jang’s work utilizes materials and object-making to articulate the countervailing forces inherent in the everyday—expansion and contraction, perfection and imperfection, force and balance, have and have not. His artwork has been exhibited at MOCA in 2012 and will be exhibited at the Laguna Art Museum 2013.

Barbara Kolo was born and educated in New York. Her artwork has been included in major international art fairs and collected by notable art collectors worldwide. Her paintings were part of several group exhibitions including one at the Palais des Art in Marseilles.

Guests will enjoy non-alcoholic beverages and appetizers, and at 7 pm enjoy a presentation about the exhibit.

The event is free.

Art Space Warehouse is located at 7358 Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA  Map
