Superfruit your next backyard soirée with these delicious cocktail recipes

We all know that imbibing in alcoholic beverages isn’t usually on our “get healthy” list, but what if we could enjoy a cocktail that’s rich in nutrients and high in antioxidant power? Superfruits like açaí and pomegranate have made their way into everything from cosmetics to jelly-beans – and now there’s fun ways to enjoy them in refreshing cocktails.
This summer, superfruit what’s in your glass by grabbing a pitcher, throwing in a handful of strawberries or a scoop of cranberries, adding a decent pour of a superfruit spirit (try VeeV, the world’s first açaí spirit) and topping with ice and soda
These drink recipes are a refreshing alternative to sugary daiquiris and will keep you looking good when you’re lounging by the pool.
Açaí Lemonade Pitcher
Açaí Spirit, 1/2 bottle
Lemonade
Fill a 2-quart pitcher ¾ full with ice, add all ingredients and stir well
Top with a splash of cranberry juice and decorate with 6 lemon wheels
Sparkling Açaí Sangria Pitcher
Açaí Spirit, 1/2 bottle
4 oz. elderflower liqueur
4 oz. orange juice
Fill a 2-quart pitcher ¾ full with ice, add ingredients and stir well
Top with sparkling wine and add fresh fruit for garnish
Açaí Mojito Pitcher
Açaí Spirit, 1/2 bottle
5 oz. simple syrup
6 oz. fresh limejuice
4 oz. blueberry puree (optional)
5 sprigs of mint
Muddle the mint in the bottom of a 2-quart pitcher. Fill the pitcher ¾ full with ice, add all ingredients and stir well. Top with club soda.
Superfruit Soda Pitcher
Açaí Spirit, 1/2 bottle
1 oz. fresh limejuice
Club soda
Fresh or frozen blueberries, for garnish
Fill a 2-quart pitcher ¾ full with ice, add all ingredients and stir well.
Superfruit Freeze Pitcher
8 oz. Veev Açaí Spirit
6 oz. crushed pineapple
30 blueberries (fresh or frozen)
6 oz. fresh lemon juice
9 oz. simple syrup
4-5 cups of ice
Blend all ingredients until smooth and transfer into a 2-quart pitcher. Garnish with fresh blueberries.
Açaí Margarita Pitcher
Açaí Spirit, 1/2 bottle
5 oz. blanco tequila
7 oz. fresh lime juice
5 oz. simple syrup
4 oz. pomegranate juice (optional)
Fill a 2-quart pitcher ¾ full with ice, add all ingredients and stir well. Add for lime wheels for garnish.
