Can a singular girl ever get enough pampering? Not in our book. But if you wanted to try to max out on delicious treats to eat and drink — along with an amazing array of the latest in beauty and grooming products — then the place to be was the third annual Pamper Me Fabulous event held on Sunday, March 28 at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles.

As participants walked through the door of this former cathedral, transformed into a wonderland of girly delights, they were greeted with bubbly pink champagne, a chocolate fountain and a rainbow assortment of French macaroons. Then it was time to peruse the makeup artists, nail salons, massage therapists, eyelash beautifiers and jewelry vendors with sparkly bling that gathered to show-off the latest products and services to make women feel refreshed, rejuvenated and relished.

In the outside garden area there was even more delights to enjoy with lectures from health and beauty experts, more delectable things to eat and drink, and comfy white sofas surrounded by pink blossomed trees to sit down, relax and enjoy chit chat with friends. The “experts corner” included tips on how to get organized, how to unwind with reflexology, and zodiac therapy: astrology for your body, mind and spirit. The café area offered delicious desserts and drinks and featured a gourmet lunch from LA Bento.

The Step Up Women’s Network was the beneficiary for funds raised at Pamper Me Fabulous. The non-profit organization is a national membership organization dedicated to bridging communities of professional women and underserved teen girls through mentorship, networking and advancement so they will have opportunities to create a better future.

Ada Chan and Amanda Ma, owners of Los Angeles-based Fresh Events Company came up with the Pamper Me Fabulous concept. “We created this swanky, fun and educational experience where women could take time out from being ‘professional mom’ or ‘Ms. CEO’ to focus on their personal wellbeing at the event,” Chan said. “The positive energy is incredible. It’s a really fun and uplifting experience for both guests and event sponsors.”

Ah yes, nothing like some retail therapy, beauty treatments, chocolate, champagne and a higher purpose to make a girl feel great!
