What an exciting week! Besides launching our Love On The Rocks! contest in partnership with the RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen in Century City, we just finished up production on the much anticipated Fall issue of Singular magazine.

This new “success-themed”-issue features an exclusive cover story and photos of singular actor Matt Dillon, who has three new movies coming out. There’s also a gorgeous story on Aussie celebrity chef Curtis Stone, an Australia travel feature by yours truly, and all the great departments and columns you know and love in Singular magazine.

If that wasn’t enough excitement, I want to remind you that the American Wine and Food Festival is coming up in just a few more weeks. Since SingularCity.com is the digital media sponsor for this gala three-day culinary event we have tickets to give away – but you have enter to win.

Have a great week everyone and I’ll see you in the city!

Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 8 – 11 a.m.
Hike to Mount Hollywood
Meet at Griffith Observatory
2800 East Observatory Road
Los Angeles, CA 90027

This is a fairly moderate hike from the Griffith Observatory to the top of Mt. Hollywood, not to be confused with the Hollywood Sign, which is on top of Mt. Hood. At the top, there are beautiful views of the hills, mountains, downtown, and sometimes the ocean if it is clear enough! It is uphill on the way there, all downhill on the way back, but it is never fast paced ... just make sure to bring a snack and plenty of water! What a way to wear off all the Halloween candy BEFORE you eat it!
