Hike on the Eaton Canyon Falls Trail


Our next SingularCity hike will be on Saturday, March 14 starting 9 a.m. on the Eaton Canyon Falls Trail. Rated moderate, this picturesque trail is located near Pasadena and is 3.4 mile out-and-back.

Accessible year round, it features a waterfall and is used primarily for hiking and nature trips. Dogs are allowed on this trail but must be kept on leash.

We will meet at the nature center at the Eaton Canyon Natural Area located at 1750 North Altadena Drive, one block north of New York Drive in Pasadena. There is a sign on the east side of the street which clearly marks the entrance to the park. 

Parking is free and they have overflow parking as well. The hike will last about two hours followed by lunch together at Congregation Ale House in Pasadena. This spacious outpost has a large beer selection serving American grill grub in a cathedral-like space.The restaurant is located at 300 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105. From the 210 Freeway eastbound, exit at Sierra Madre Boulevard/Altadena Drive. Turn left (north) at the first light (Altadena Drive) and go 1.6 miles to the park entrance. 

From the 210 Freeway westbound, exit at San Gabriel Boulevard/San Marino. Turn right (north) at the second light (Altadena Drive) and go 1.5 miles to the park entrance.
