Join us on Sunday, March 27 for a hike along the Temescal Canyon Loop in Pacific Palisades to celebrate the start of summer. This is an open event (you do not need to be a SingularCity member to attend). The street address is 15601 Sunset Boulevard, Pacific Palisades, CA.
Temescal Canyon is very popular hiking spot in Los Angeles with great views of the ocean on clear days, a seasonal waterfall, and a densely wooded canyon. The loop starts out on Temescal Ridge Trail, climbing almost 1,000 feet in the first mile. At the intersection with Temescal Canyon Trail we’ll head down into the deep canyon. At the bottom, we’ll cross a bridge with a lovely waterfall. After crossing the bridge, the trail drops through the canyon at a mild pace, through a pleasantly dense wooded area.
Find us by the drinking fountain just across from the restrooms at 10 a.m.
4 miles round trip
Elevation Gain: 1000 ft
Hike Time: 2.5 hours
Trail Condition: Well maintained trail
After the hike, we’ll have lunch in the Pacific Palisades village — which also has a nice Farmer’s Market on Sundays to add to the day’s fun.
