Join us on Thursday, August 23 from 5-8 pm at the stunning RED O restaurant at 8155 Melrose Avenue for an exquisite “social hour” at one the most beautiful restaurants in Los Angeles.

In an era of minimalist design at maximum prices, RED O provides a welcome alternative from the trend of hard plastic seats and stark decor. When you enter RED O, you’ll leave the city behind and be transported to an elegant ambiance that will make you feel like you’re at a luxury resort on the Mexican Riviera.

The menu is designed by the renowned chef Rick Bayless, responsible for changing the image of Mexican food in America, and known from his highly rated PBS series “Mexico—One Plate at a Time,” and his seven cookbooks.

RED O’s menu features both authentic Mexican and lighter California-style dishes — with special prices during social hour that includes $2 Oysters shucked to order with tomatillo-habanero mioneta, smoky chipotle-garlic salsa & fresh-cut limes; Ceviche $10; Classic guacamole that is freshly made, with chunky, sundried tomato, onion, with warm chips & salsa for $6; a “Street Food Trio for $12 that includes smoked chicken taquitos, Mexico City style corn masa quesadillas, sweet plantain sopes — just to name a few of the delicious possibilities.

Specialty cocktails are just $8, wine is $7 and craft beers are $5.

We will have the best spot in the house: the dramatic main bar area where we’ll enjoy our sips and snacks at the 14-foot communal table made of solid walnut and bronze and in the sexy, comfy alcove with its sofas and giant pillow-like chairs.

The special prices are from 5-7 pm, and the first 10 SingularCity members who arrive at RED O with a singular guest will receive a complimentary drink.

Bring your business card to enter a drawing for two tickets to Elephant Room at the Kirk Douglas Theater.

This event is open to everyone and is a great opportunity to introduce your singular friends to SingularCity and to RED O.

Don’t miss this one!
