Discover a “spiritual oasis in the city” — the Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens — and enjoy an afternoon of peace, reflection and rejuvenation.
Our adventure starts with a private tour of a 100-year-old Italian Renaissance villa and its Asian-themed meditation garden. Though not large, it is spectacular with over 16 water fountains, a Koi pond and soothing spaces to reflect.
The outdoor stone walking labyrinth provides opportunities to “unwind your mind” and let go. The labyrinth has the same design as the one at the famous Chartres Cathedral in France.
Next, we’ll gather for “An Introduction to Meditation and Sound, A Deeper Experience” where we’ll experience sounds, sound baths and silence for inner focus. Paul Kaye will play over 30 Himalayan and percussive instruments as he leads the guided meditation. It’s a powerful way to gain clarity on any challenges you’re facing in life.
Lastly, we’ll enjoy refreshments and have more time to explore the meditation gardens and labyrinth. Docents will be on hand to offer instructions and you’ll have time to walk the labyrinth at your own pace.
Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens has been featured in many magazines, including L.A. Magazine, and has been called “a hidden treasure” and “one of the best places to visit in Los Angeles.”
This is a private event for SingularCity members and guests. The cost is $10 and you must purchase your ticket in advance.
