In a city full of diversions and obstacles, it’s a challenge to find something interesting and worth forking over a few bucks to experience. Well, SingularCity, in collaboration with the game masters from Wise Guys Events, have come up with something guaranteed to deliver not only an entertaining evening, but also a chance to win $1,200 in prizes — along with bragging rights for being the smartest, savviest singulars in the city.
Welcome to the “SingularCity Sip & Solve” party on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 7 – 10 pm at the Westfield Century City where players, in teams of four, will take on fun challenges that will test their coordination, quick thinking, and even the art of deception. No previous experience is necessary, but a drink or two might help. (Check-in starts at 6 pm at Pink Taco.)

The fun starts at Pink Taco, a fast paced, high-energy Mexican restaurant and bar committed to delivering not just a phenomenal dining experience, but a social one as well, complete with a rock n’ roll swagger in an unforgettable ambiance. That’s where the Sip & Solve players check-in between 6 – 6:45 p.m., enjoy margaritas and appetizers, while game masters Greg Snyder and Myles Nye explain the game and get the party started.

Then we’re off to Ummba Grill, a sensuous churrascaria with a beautiful outdoor patio that specializes in making you feel like you’re dining al fresco in Rio de Janeiro where we’ll enjoy exotic Brazilian cocktails and snacks. Ummba Grill has delicious food, a festive atmosphere, an attentive but not overbearing staff and exotic and surprising cocktail and wine offerings.

While the players enjoy the complimentary drinks and food, they’re also completing challenges along the way. Those challenges will have the teams scampering off to various destinations at the Westfield Century City that will include the sleek new Sony store, chock full of the latest Sony laptops, tablets, and electronic goodies. There’s also a stop at Intimacy, a luxury bra and lingerie store where players will be surrounded by European designer brands rarely offered in other lingerie stores in the United States.

Of course, no game at the Westfield Century City would be complete without a challenge inside Macy’s, the iconic American department store known not only as a one-stop shopping destination, but also for the world famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
The players will end the game at RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen, a dining destination from restaurateur David Overton and Singapore-raised, New York-trained chef Mohan Ismail. RockSugar features the cuisines of Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and India presented in a Southeast Asian fantasyland and has one of the most stunning bars in Los Angeles. There’s another round of complimentary drinks and tasty Asian-style appetizers, the final game challenge and the announcement of the winners.

So there you have it: food, fun, cocktails, prizes and cool people meeting and mingling while playing a team building interactive game at upscale venues at the Westfield Century City. Bring your own team or put one together with the people you’ll meet at the start of the game.
Tickets are just $30 in advance and $40 at the door, and include food and drinks at Pink Taco, Ummba Grill and RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen, a fun game to play designed by the game masters at Wise Guy Events and prizes from Sony, Macy’s, Intimacy and the participating restaurants.
Seriously, could there be anything better to do on Thursday, October 20th? Check-in at Pink Taco starts at 6 p.m. The game starts at 7 p.m. and lasts until 10 p.m.
